Simon Imrei
Simon Imrei is an acoustic wedding guitarist/vocalist from the Mornington Peninsula.
Throughout the years Simon has kept a steady roster of gigs performing around Victoria with a mix of blues/soul and folk inspired cover versions as well as traditional pub classics and acoustic favourites.
Simon draws influence from seminal blue/soul artists and guitarists like Eric Clapton, Bill Withers, Mark Knopfler and Stevie Wonder along with classic songwriters like Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stevens and Neil Young to create a set blending looped beats & rhythmic guitar with layered riffs and vocals.
Simon has spent over half of his professional career providing entertainment for weddings and corporate functions across Melbourne and surrounds. For many of these roles, Simon has also added an MC service, DJ music for the breaks and sometimes broader function coordination and timing support to clients as a full turnkey solution.
