ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Adelina Martinez

Award winning vocalist Adelina Martinez has performed in five Australian states as a guest of James Morrison AM. Described as “one of Brisbane’s jazz queens” by the Brisbane Jazz Guide, Adelina performs at weddings, functions and events across Australia.

We asked Adelina a few questions so that you can get to know her a little bit better!

Interesting fact: I’m first generation Australian and grew up speaking both Spanish and English! I try to get back to Uruguay (in South America) once a year to spend time with my extended family

ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Paige Burney Trio

Paige Burney is a Melbourne based singer who is known for her versatility in style. From indie pop, to musical theatre, to sweet, smooth jazz, Paige's vocal prowess is evident as she moves effortlessly from crystal clear to warm, soulful sounds.

Paige's newest venture, the Paige Burney Trio sees her work alongside a talented and dynamic duo: Dan Mason on saxophone and Mark Gilliam on guitar.

Interesting fact: Paige (vocals) and Dan's (sax) mums were in the same mothers group! They reunited at the Australian Jazz Museum jazz course in 2018, met guitarist Mark while there and the rest is history!
